  • In granting a declaration that the claimant was entitled to the ownership of the domain name blackjack.com, HH Judge Hacon ruled that the first defendant, a Uruguayan company, had committed an irremediable material breach of a 2003 agreement under which the claimant transferred the domain name and associated business to it.1 Under its terms, the claimant was entitled to terminate the agreement, and an equitable interest in the domain name and associated goodwill vested in the claimant which was entitled to call for an assignment of those rights.
