*520  $aThe Spanish DSM Directive has been trnsposed into Spanish law by means of a Royal Decree Law of November 2021. This article considers the way in which the press publisher's right and the special regime for online content-sharing service providers have been implemented into Spanish law, focusing on some problematic issues that warrant careful consideration and that might be improved in a future law, currently discussed in the Spanish Parliament, that may end up superseding the initial Decree.
