  • Adding to Cambridge Analytica’s legal woes, the data mining and analysis firm has been sued for copyright infringement regarding the unauthorised use of a photo. In a suit filed with the US District Court of New York at the end of April, US photographer Todd Bigalow claims that the UK-based firm used an iconic image of people seeking to gain entry into the US by climbing a wall on the border between the country and Mexico, without permission. The plaintiff, who has appeared in publications such as Time, Sports Illustrated and Newsweek, furthers that the defendant used the photo as part of an online personality test.
