*520  $aDespite the ongoing EU legislative policy seems aimed at harmonising Member States' IP laws to foster the single internal market, EU copyright law is not fully harmonised yet. This is true especially for the protection of photographic works. This paper focuses on French, German and Italian copyright law to illustrate how photographic works are subject to different systems of protection troughout the EU, to the point where some photographs might be protected in one of these States but not in another.
