Huomautus sisällöstä, tiivistelmä tms. Over the last decade and a half, intellectual property scholarship has increasingly investigated not only questions of what the law is and should be, but also questions of where we should situate "law" - as distinct from other behavior governance mechanisms such as norms, technological architectures, and non-law incentives such as prizes and patronage - within the information policy and innovation practice ecosystems. Should we treat formal intellectual property ownership as central to innovative and creative endeavors, or merely as an influence at the margins of participants' copying, sharing, and attribution decisions?
